But it falls into the background once you’re wrapped inside the singer/songwriter’s infectious brand of pop rock. "I have so much fun connecting with an audience," Varnadeau muses. "I feel honored when something I've gone through can touch someone and I can see their reactions right then and there during a live performance. That interaction allows me to get to know my audience, and allows me to make new friends all over the world." .... Her rock/pop style with fun alternative nuances speaks of life, love, hope, dreams, and freedom in an honest and real way. This potent musical mixture has led the five-foot tall bundle of kinetic energy to write her own songs, tour year-round in the U.S. and Western Europe, and also run a non-profit organization that empowers teen girls. An impressive list of accomplishments has followed as well: six albums, major national tours, and six top-ten radio hits (including a record-breaking number one single). She was also recently nominated for Pop Album, Pop Song, and singer/songwriter of the year in the upcoming 2009 Just Plain Folks Music Awards. Her current album, SOMETHING CHANGED is distributed through E1 (formerly Koch) in the US, and through her record label in the UK, Authentic Media/Go Global. Her upcoming album to be released this fall was recorded in Finland, Nashville, and Los Angeles, bringing a unique and fresh approach to her music. ....
